No. 3 Baylor Takes Down No. 15 Arizona

WACO, Texas - No. 15 Arizona fell to the No. 3 Baylor Bears 5-2 on the road.

The Wildcats had another slow start to the match and could not recover. The doubles point was quickly clinched by the Bears before sealing up the victory in singles. No. 105 Gustaf Strom and Nick Lagaev won their first sets to give Arizona some breathing room and No. 54 Filip Malbasic pushed the game to three sets before falling on Court 2. Lagaev and Strom finished up their matches in the third set to give the Wildcats two points. Strom remains undefeated against ranked singles opponents on the season.

The Wildcats will look to rebound against No. 7 Texas on Friday, Mar. 19 at 1 p.m MST.
