EUGENE, Ore. – Nearly two weeks since its last match, the Oregon men's tennis team returns to action with a pair of home matches beginning Saturday against Seattle U. The Ducks will jump back into Pac-12 competition Sunday when it host Utah at 12 p.m. (PT).

Ducks' Snapshot
Through the first 12 matches of the season, Oregon is 10-2 overall with an 0-2 mark in conference play, dropping a pair of 5-2 decisions at No. 21 Arizona State (Feb. 26) and No. 20 Arizona (Feb. 28). The team checks in at No. 49 in the most recent ITA top-50 poll. Individually, the Ducks have seven players with six or more wins in singles play, led by nine each for Joshua Charlton and Jesper Klöv-Nilsson. Additionally, UO has won the doubles point in nine of its 12 matches.
 
Last Time Out
The Ducks remained undefeated at home with a 4-0 victory over Cal Poly (March 7). Brandon Lam sealed the win with a 7-6(4), 7-5 triumph over Gary Vardanyan at No. 5 singles. Oregon picked up wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles to secure the opening point of the match. Quinn Vandecasteele was first off court with his straight-set win at No. 3 singles, followed by a victory from fellow freshman Ryoma Matsushita at the No. 6 spot.
 
Within Reach of 100
With two wins against Cal Poly (March 5), Joshua Charlton pushed his combined career total to 94 with a 48-14 (.774) record in singles play and 46-15 (.754) record in doubles play.
 
About Seattle U
Seattle U enters the weekend with a 2-7 record; teams plays at Portland State on Friday. The Redhawks are coming off a close 4-3 loss to Montana State (March 12) that ultimately came down to a three setter at No. 6 singles. Seattle U dropped the doubles point but swept the top-three spots in the singles lineup. Mats Krause and Julian Worn lead SU with three wins apiece.
 
About Utah
The Utes (10-6, 0-2 Pac-12) open their weekend at Washington before Sunday's match in Eugene. In the March 17 ITA top-50 poll, Utah is receiving votes. Slava Shainyan carries a 9-5 record this season with a 7-3 mark at the No. 1 singles spot. Overall, Francisco Bastias and Geronimo Busleiman lead the Utes with 10 wins each. In doubles play, Busleiman and Franco Capalbo are 8-2 in the top spot for Utah.
