THIS WEEK
The Utah Men's Golf team will play its second tournament of the season in Tucson, Ariz. in the NIT Invitational. The tournament will span two days, March 20-21, and take place at the Catalina Course of the Omni Tucson National Resort.

THE FIELD
Utah will compete among a field of 18 teams that includes Arizona, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Illinois, Colorado State, Houston, Iowa State, San Diego, UNLV, USC, New Mexico, San Diego State, Texas, Colorado, Nevada, Wyoming, and Miami.

UTAH'S LINE-UP
The Utes' five-man lineup will consist of juniors Tristan Mandur and Blake Tomlinson, redshirt freshman Oscar Maxfield, and freshmen Javier Barcos and Jesper von Reedtz.

COACHES THOUGHTS: Head Coach Garrett Clegg
"This tournament will be the best field we have seen to this point in the spring. After two very solid tournaments, this will be a good barometer as to where we are as a team with six weeks remaining in the season. I am excited to see how we compete at Tucson National, a course we are familiar with. Both Blake and Tristan have competed in this tournament twice and that will be a big help for our other three players who are yet to play Tucson National."

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
The NIT Invitational is a two-day tournament course consisting of 54 holes with 36 holes being played on the first day and the final 18 on the second day. The tournament will take place at the Catalina Course of the Omni Tucson National Resort. The tournament will start at 7:00 a.m. with the first Ute teeing off at 8:10 a.m. MT with a shotgun start format.

LAST TIME OUT
Just over a week ago the Utes competed in the Bandon Dunes Championship in Bandon, Ore. The team tied for second overall after shooting 5-over (857) in three rounds of plays. Leading the Utes was senior Mitchell Schow, who shot 4-under par (209) securing a tie for fifth overall. Mandur and Barcos both tied for 16th while Tomlinson finished 28th after a strong final round of play.
