No. 7 Texas Edges No. 15 Arizona
AUSTIN, Texas. - The Wildcats battled hard and came up just short of a victory against No. 7 Texas with a score of 4-3.
The Cats split the doubles 1-2 with Carlos Hassey and Alejandro Reguant grabbing a doubles win. Reguant and No. 105 Gustaf Strom won the first singles points of the day in three set duels to put the Wildcats in the lead. With every match going to three sets, No. 50 Jonas Ziverts pulled out on a win on court 1 before the Wildcats finally fell.
Arizona will be back on the road to face No. 26 Oklahoma on Monday, Mar. 22.
