Game 2 Halted, Game 3 Canceled Due to Rain

SEATTLE, Wash. -- Arizona and Washington were scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday. One pitch into the bottom of the sixth, with Washington leading 2-1, the rain came.
The tarp came out and a rain delay ensued. The rain never stopped and after a 2:52 rain delay, game 2 was halted and game 3 was canceled, not to be made up.
The game will resume on Sunday at 11 a.m., with Washington leading 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning. Thirty minutes following the conclusion of the game, the teams will meet in what was originally scheduled to be game 4 of the series.
