CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon completed a rivalry weekend sweep of Oregon State with a straight-sets win Sunday, 25-19, 25-22, 25-22 behind another balanced effort. The 17th-ranked Ducks won for the 10th time in the last 11 matches and moved to 11-3 on the year.

How It Happened: The Ducks came out firing on all cylinders offensively in the first set, hitting .562 as a team to win 25-19. Oregon led the whole way in the opening game, responding when the Beavers got within 9-8 with a 4-0 run with Brooke Nuneviller on serve to open up a five-point lead. From there, the Ducks kept rolling, going up 22-15 at one point before finishing off the set.

The two teams went back-and-forth for most of the second set, until Oregon went on a run late in the set to go up 2-0. With Oregon State up 21-19, the Ducks went on a 4-0 run to take control, tying it up on a Taylor Borup ace and jumping in front on a Nuneviller kill to make it 22-21. Nuneviller put down her seventh kill of the set to make it 24-21 before Abby Hansen and Morgan Lewis provided the exclamation point with a block on set point.

Oregon dug itself a deep hole in set three, falling behind 15-9 at one point, before storming back to win the match. The Ducks went on a 9-1 run to go in front 18-16 behind serving runs by Borup and Elise Ferreira. Ferreira served up back-to-back aces to cut it to 15-13 before Borup's 5-0 service run gave the Ducks the lead. The Beavers went back in front, 22-21, but Nuneviller tied it with her 15th kill before three straight OSU attack errors ended the match.
