SEATTLE - The Husky men's tennis team is working straight through Spring Break, heading to Southern California for three non-conference duals in a span of five days. Washington (7-6) will make stops at No. 25 Pepperdine (4-3) on Monday, at UC Santa Barbara (1-2) on Wednesday, and at San Diego State (3-6) on Friday.

The Dawgs had a tough 4-3 loss on Friday against Utah so the best thing for that is to quickly get back on court against a highly ranked opponent. Washington won the doubles point against the Utes and held a 3-0 lead after Clement Chidekh and Ewen Lumsden posted straight set wins at Nos. 1 and 3 singles, but Utah wound up winning four third sets, two ending at 7-6 and two at 7-5 to rally and win the thriller.

The Waves have a 4-3 win over USC this season and a win over then-No. 14 Oklahoma State. Corrado Summaria is ranked 90th in singles for the Waves. Guy Den Ouden was ranked No. 10 in the ITA Newcomer rankings, two spots behind UW's own Clement Chidekh. Pepperdine also has two ranked doubles teams, one at 34 and one at 58.

UC Santa Barbara has only played three matches this season, a 6-1 loss to UCLA, a 5-2 loss to Arizona, and a 5-2 win over Loyola Marymount. Joseph Guillin ranks 27th nationally for the Gauchos. Stefano Tsorotiotis was named Big West Player of the Week back on March 10.

The Aztecs are 3-6 so far this season, having just split a pair of matches against Loyola Marymount, losing the first but getting a 4-3 win in the rematch. Johannes Seeman is playing in the top spot for SDSU and his 6-2 singles record is the best on the team.
