Bears Part Of 2021 Fort Myers Tip-Off

FORT MYERS, Fla. – California is one of four men's basketball programs that will compete in the 2021 Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans Fort Myers Tip-Off during Thanksgiving Week, tournament officials announced Wednesday.
 
Cal will be joined by Florida, Ohio State and Seton Hall for the fourth-annual event at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College. Game dates, matchups, game times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
 
Since 2018, the event has featured five teams – Loyola (2018), Gonzaga and Kansas (2020) and Florida and Ohio State (2021) – that earned berths to the 2021 NCAA Tournament. The 2021 Tip-Off field boasts a combined 84 NCAA Tournament berths and 127 postseason appearances (NCAA and NIT) overall.
