No. 39 USC Women’s Tennis Visits Arizona and Arizona State

THIS WEEK
This week, the No. 39 Women of Troy travel to the desert to challenge Arizona on Friday (Apr.2) at 1:30 p.m. PT, and take on No. 34 Arizona State on Saturday (Apr. 3) at 12 p.m. PT.

RANKINGS
The Women of Troy dropped to No. 39 in the national rankings after their 5-2 loss to Oregon last week. After the new singles and doubles rankings were released, USC now boasts two ranked singles players: No. 69 Naomi Cheong and No. 123 Eryn Cayetano. The Trojans do not have any ranked doubles pairs.

SCOUTING ARIZONA
The Arizona Wildcats are 11-8 overall and 0-5 in Pac-12 Conference play. Arizona is not ranked as a team, nor do they have any ranked singles players or doubles pairs. In their last two matches against New Mexico State, they were victorious 6-1 in both matches. USC holds a 54-15 all-time record over Arizona dating back to their initial meeting in 1980.

SCOUTING ARIZONA STATE
The Arizona State Dun Devils are 10-5 overall and 3-2 in Pac-12 Conference play. Arizona State is ranked No. 34 in the nation as a team. They have one ranked singles player: No. 119 Ilze Hattingh. The Sun Devils do not have any ranked doubles pairs. In their last match against New Mexico State, the Sun Devils won 7-0. USC holds a 55-24 all-time record over Arizona State dating back to their initial meeting in 1980.
