Colorado Faces Utah For Senior Day

Apr 14, 2021

BOULDER – Colorado women's tennis team hosts Utah Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center to conclude the 2021 regular season.

The Buffaloes (8-11, 2-7 Pac-12) are 6-2 at home and look to keep the momentum going as they try to tie the program-best record of three Pac-12 wins in a season. The Utes come to town with a 7-12 record and are still seeking a win in conference in nine tries.

Colorado has been on a slide but have been led by Maria Campos and Megan Forster who each have three wins in their past 10 matches. Both are the only Buffs with double-digit wins, led by Megan's 11. The Buffs are 2-2 at home in Pac-12 play this season.

Friday's match will mark the last one in Boulder for graduate transfer Fleur Eggink who joined the team from Marquette. The senior has the second-best doubles record on the team with an 8-10 overall record.

Due to being indoors, the match is not open to the public. Fans can follow the live scoring at cubuffs.com/tennislive.

SCOUTING THE UTES
Utah is winless against the Pac-12 this season but came close in 4-3 losses to Oregon and Washington State. Two of their seven wins come against newly division I affiliate Dixie State.
