No. 32 USC Women’s Tennis Travels Across Town to Challenge No. 6 UCLA

THIS WEEK
This week, the Women of Troy finish up Pac-12 play by visiting crosstown rival UCLA in Westwood on Friday (Apr. 16) at 1:30 p.m. PT. 

RANKINGS
The Women of Troy improved two spots to No. 32 in the national rankings. After the new singles and doubles rankings were released on Apr. 14, USC boasts one ranked singles players: No. 65 Salma Ewing. The Trojans do not have any ranked doubles pairs. 

SCOUTING UCLA
The No. 6 ranked UCLA Bruins are 16-3 overall and 9-0 in Pac-12 Conference play. The Bruins have two tanked singles players: No. 7 Abigail Forbes and No. 124 Elysia Bolton. In doubles, the duo of Bolton/Hart are ranked No. 85. In UCLA's last match against Pepperdine on Apr. 14, the Bruins beat the Waves 5-2. USC holds the lead in an extremely tight record against UCLA. The Trojans are 50-49 against the Bruins all-time, dating back to their initial meeting in 1977.
