Apr 25, 2021

SANTA ROSA, Calif. – The 2021 postseason officially begins for No. 21 Arizona Men's Golf at the Pac-12 Championships at Mayacama Golf Club in Santa Rosa, California on Monday morning. The Wildcats' lineup for the event is an experienced group with 10 championship starts, led by the senior tandem of David Laskin and Brad Reeves who are starting in their fourth Pac-12 Championship.

"We love this time of year as the entire season culminates in the next six weeks," said head coach Jim Anderson. "It will be important to remember to keep things simple this week. Our goal is to execute our game plan for the course and build off the development of our team throughout this year. Conditions will certainly be set up for a championship, and we know the importance of composure and patience. Our team's experience will come in very useful in championship conditions."

Arizona has already posted a banner season with a pair of team wins and individual wins, by Brad Reeves and Trevor Werbylo, at the Arizona Intercollegiate and The Prestige event. The two team victories gave the program its first multi-tournament winning season since 2006.

The Cats' lineup at the Pac-12 Championships will consist of five seniors; Brad Reeves, David Laskin, Trevor Werbylo, Briggs Duce and Christian Banke. Sophomore Chase Sienkiewicz is the only underclassmen making the trip to the Bay Area.

Arizona will be among the first groups teeing off at 7 a.m. (MST) alongside Oregon and Stanford to begin the four rounds in three days championship journey.
