LOS ANGELES - Senior Rachel Garcia and juniors Briana Perez and Delanie Wisz each hit home runs, while sophomore Megan Faraimo struck out six in a complete-game victory, as the second-ranked Bruins won this weekend's series against No. 3 Washington with a 4-2 win on Sunday at Easton Stadium.

Faraimo (12-3) allowed just two runs and six hits. She had 1-2-3 frames in the first, second and fifth and a pair of strikeouts in the fourth and seventh. Five different Bruins (28-3, 10-2 Pac-12) combined for their five hits.

UCLA jumped on the Huskies in the bottom of the first. Junior Aaliyah Jordan walked with two outs and Garcia connected on her seventh home run of the season. Wisz followed with her eighth bomb of the year to put the Bruins up 3-0.

After Washington (35-9, 13-4 Pac-12) hit a solo homer in the top of the third, the Bruins answered in the bottom half, as Perez launched her ninth of the season to take over the team lead to make it 4-1.

The Huskies scored another run in the seventh, but Faraimo closed things out to give UCLA the series victory.

The Bruins head to Salt Lake City next weekend to take on Utah, with the four-game series starting on Friday, April 30 at 4 p.m. PT. A live stream will be available at UCLABruins.com.
