Jake Mulholland Named To Stopper Of The Year Watch List

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Oregon State left-handed pitcher Jake Mulholland has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year midseason watch list, it was announced Wednesday.
 
Mulholland, Oregon State's all-time leader with 39 saves, has nine this season, which ranks second in the Pac-12 Conference. The lefty is 2-1 with a 0.86 earned run average.
 
Mulholland has appeared in 18 games this season, totaling 21 innings. Opponents have recorded just 11 hits against him, and drawn five walks. He has 16 strikeouts.
 
The midseason watch list has 65 members. Finalists for the award will be announced June 9 with the winner selected on June 19 in Omaha at the College World Series.
