Wildcats To Return To Stanford for NCAA Regionals

TUCSON, Ariz. – Three days after returning from Stanford Golf Course after completing the Pac-12 Championships, No. 22 Arizona Women's Golf learned that NCAA Regionals would send them back to Stanford. The Wildcats will stay out west as a No. 6 seed and faced a loaded regional field when it begins its NCAA postseason journey on Monday, May 10.

The Stanford Regional includes a pair of Pac-12 foes in USC and Stanford with Wake Forest being the region's top seed. In fact, the field of the regional features 11 programs the Wildcats have competed against in tournament action this season.

Arizona finished the 2021 Pac-12 Championships in fourth at Stanford Golf Course as Yu-Sang Hou earned a top-three finish, at 4-under, with her best 54-hole score of her career at 209. Sophomore Vivian Hou gave the Wildcats a second finisher in the top ten when she tied for tenth at 1-over. Ya Chun Chang, Gile Bite Starkute and Therese Warner all rounded out the tournament in the top 30.

Yu-Sang Hou and Warner were also recognized by the Pac-12 on its all-conference teams as Hou was an All-Pac-12 Team selection and Warner honorable mention.
