SAN FRANCISCO -- The Pac-12 Conference announced fifth year Maddi Hackbarth as Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. The catcher led then-No. 12 Arizona State from the plate to its fifth-straight conference series win this season against then-No. 8 Oregon this past weekend.
Hackbarth played a pivotal role in ASU's dominant performance, fueling the Sun Devil offense to wins in 3-of-4 contests. The California native collected two home runs against Oregon to reach 20 on the season and tie ASU's program record for home runs in a single season.

She reached base in nine of her 15 plate appearances with two home runs, five RBIs and four walks, including an intentional walk that loaded the bases on Saturday night. Her five RBI further extended her lead of the Conference with 56 on the season.
This is the second Player of the Week award for Maddi Hackbarth this season. She won the nomination in the first week of play on Feb. 16.
