SEASON WIN OVER THE COUGARS
Utah got the season series win over BYU on Tuesday with an 11-5 win for them go to 3-1 this season against the Cougars.

The final matchup was all about the bats as Utah hit three home runs on their way to scoring 11 runs in Provo. Christopher Rowan, Jr. hit a three-run bomb in the first inning and Matt Richardson and Kai Roberts went back-to-back in the fourth.

Earlier in the season, Utah's pitchers locked down the BYU bats. The pitchers held a 2.00 ERA against BYU in the first two games. The five on the mound combined to only give up four runs on 12 hits. They struck out 20 and only walked nine.

Out of the bullpen, Randon Hostert pitched the final three innings in the second game against and struck out six batters while only giving up three hits and one run.

ROWAN BRINGS THE POWER
Christopher Rowan, Jr. leads the team with eight home runs on the season after hitting a three-run bomb in the first inning against BYU.

Possibly the biggest homer of the season came against Arizona State. He hit his fifth home run of the season to tie the game in the ninth inning. With a runner on and trailing by two runs, he jumped on the first pitch hitting it out dead center to tie the game at six.

Against Dixie State earlier in the season, he knocked two home runs and had four RBI. With his three runs scored, he had a hand in seven of the team's 16 runs against the Trailblazers.

His other two home runs have come as a pinch hitter.
