Beavers Advance With 3-2 Win

FORT WORTH, Texas – Oregon State advanced to a fourth game at the Fort Worth Regional with a 3-2 win over host TCU Sunday at Lupton Stadium. The Beavers will now take on three-seed Dallas Baptist at 4:06 p.m. PT on ESPN3.
TCU jumped out to a 2-0 lead but the Beavers tied the score in the fifth on a Wade Meckler single. Justin Boyd drove home the game-winning run on a single in the ninth.
Oregon State's pitching staff combined for 15 strikeouts in the win. Jack Washburn earned the win while Mitchell Verburg picked up the save.
