Kamph Joins WBB Staff

BOULDER – Colorado head coach JR Payne added Matthew Kamph to the women's basketball staff on Wednesday. Kamph will serve as the team's Creative Design and Content Manager.

Kamph, a former Division I cross country and track & field student-athlete at Memphis, comes to Boulder after spending two years at Clemson.

Kamph will be responsible for the Buffs' conceptualization and design of digital and social communications elements for recruiting.

"We are very excited to add Matt to our staff and know that he will be a great addition to our basketball family here at CU," Payne stated. "Matt is a very high achieving individual and will certainly help us elevate our digital presence on various social media outlets as we continue to move into a new media age."

While at Clemson, Kamph served as a graduate assistant in athletic communications. He was the primary media contact for the Tigers' nationally ranked men's soccer, men's and women's cross country and men's and women's track programs. Kamph was responsible the team's social media accounts and helped produced photo and video content throughout the Clemson athletic department.

Prior to Clemson, Kamph worked as a student intern in athletic communications at Memphis. He graduated with a degree in sports & leisure management in 2019 and earned his master's in athletic leadership from Clemson in 2021.
