A-Team Is Golden

TOKYO, Japan – Alix Klineman and partner April Ross won the gold medal on Thursday night (Friday afternoon local time) at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, defeating Australia 2-0.
Known as the A-Team, Alix and April went 7-0 at the Olympics. They started their journey with three wins in Pool B – 2-0 over China, 2-0 over Spain and 2-1 over the Netherlands.
In the Round of 16, they defeated Cuba, 2-0, before a quarterfinal sweep over Germany. In the semifinal, the dynamic duo swept Switzerland, 2-0, before a straight-sets win over Australia to win the Gold Medal.
