Open Scrimmage to Wrap First Week of Practice

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon volleyball team will cap its first week of preseason practice with an open scrimmage Saturday, Aug. 14, at Matthew Knight Arena. The scrimmage is free and open to the public, and will begin at 4 p.m. (PT). Doors will open at 3:30 p.m.
 
Please note that face coverings are required inside Matthew Knight Arena.
 
Fans attending Saturday's scrimmage should use the North entrance at the arena with available seating in section 101-104.
 
The Ducks are coming off a season in which they registered a 15-5 record and earned a No. 10 national seed in the NCAA Tournament. For the seventh time in program history, Oregon advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
 
The UO preseason continues Aug. 21 with the alumni match, also a 4 p.m. start at MKA.
 
The 2021 regular season begins Aug. 27-28 with the Oregon Invitational. The Ducks' season opener will be Friday, Aug. 27 at 1 p.m. against Portland State. Oregon will also host Santa Clara and San Jose State during the two-day round robin.
