FIFE, Scotland and SOUTH BEND, Ind. - It was a great day for a pair of Bruin alums on Sunday, as Ryann O'Toole won for the first time on the LPGA Tour, while Lilia Vu posted her third victory of the season on the Symetra Tour.

For the first time in 228 starts in her 11th season on the LPGA Tour, O'Toole stepped into the winner's circle with a triumph at the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open at Dunbarnie Links. Starting the day tied for the lead at 9-under, O'Toole shot a bogey-free, 8-under 64 to finish at 17-under 271 and win by three shots.

O'Toole was coming off two of her best finishes of the season after tying for 17th at The Amundi Evian Championship and tying for 14th at the ISPS Handa World Invitational. She will remain in Scotland next week for the LPGA's final major of the season, the Women's British Open.

Vu is the hottest player on the Symetra Tour, having won for the third time this season and second time in her last three starts. Entering the final round two shots down, Vu shot a 5-under 67 to win by two (-12, 204). After three birdies on her opening eight holes, an eagle on the par-3 12th gave her the lead for good.

Vu, who won for the first time in her career in May at the Garden City Charity Classic and again last month at the Twin Bridges Championship, has finished no worse than T-4 in each of her last five starts. She remains first on the Symetra Tour money list by over $45,000 with five events remaining on the season.
