USC Cross Country Set To Compete At UC Riverside Invitational Saturday

The USC women's cross country team will be competing at the UC Riverside Invitational (6K) to be held on the UCR Agricultural Operations Course in Riverside, Calif. on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 7 15 a.m

"We are looking to build upon a solid first meet," said USC cross country coach Jebreh Harris.  "We have seven runners entered for this meet and hope to have our strongest team set to compete at the next meet in Riverside."

Trojans who are scheduled to compete this weekend are Alyssa Brewer, Janiah Brown, Maya LaCamp, Gigi Maccagnini, Mihajla Milovanovic, Giovanna Pisano and Ritika Singh.

USC opened the season by placing third at the Mark Covert Classic (5K) in Brea, Calif. on Sept. 4.  The third-place finish was USC's best since winning the 2016 Pepperdine Invitational.

USC's final regular season meet of the season will be the Highlander Invitational also at the Ag/Ops Course on October 16.
