Colorado Heads South For Bedford Cup

BOULDER – Colorado women's tennis program will stay instate this week as it competes at the Bedford Cup at Air Force Thursday through Sunday.
 
The team will send all but the three individuals that competed last weekend. It will include the Buff debut for freshmen Betina Tokac and Mila Stanojevic. Those two will be joined by Ky Ecton, Ellen Puzak, Antonia Balzert and possibly Sophia Derivan.
 
Last week saw Maria Campos, Caroline Pozo and Megan Forster compete at the Battle In The Bay Classic. The team picked up two individual wins from Pozo and Campos in seven total matches against tough competition. Campos picked up a doubles win as well with a player from San Francisco.
 
Action begins each day at 9 a.m. except for Thursday when the doubles matches begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday will feature two rounds of singles matches, Saturday will have doubles and singles, followed by the finals and extra matches on Sunday. The teams in competition include the host Air Force, Colorado State, Denver, Idaho State, Montana State, Northern Arizona and Wyoming.
