Women’s Tennis Closes out ITA All-American Trip

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Utah's week at the ITA All-American Championship has officially ended on Thursday evening.
 
The Utes double team of Madeline Lamoreaux and Emily Dush joined earned a spot in the main draw. 
 
After bad weather delayed their match one day, Lamoreaux/ Dush played eighth-seeded Reilly Tran / Alle Sanford from North Carolina. The Tar Heel duo entered the week as the 15th ranked in the ITA Preseason Doubles rankings. The Utes doubles team was not able to defeat 8-2 by their opponents.
 
Going to the consolation draw, Utah matched up with a team from LSU. The LSU team of Taylor Bridges / Ena Babic, which are ranked 51st in the ITA Preseason Doubles ranks. LSU, and Utah were locked in a tight match, but the LSU duo came out on top 8-6.  
 
The Utes are set to play next in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the ITA Mountain Regionals on Oct. 14-17.
