Wrestling Competes In The Orange & Black Dual Saturday

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team is set to get its 2021-22 season underway Saturday with the Orange and Black Dual at Gill Coliseum. The meet, which is free and open to the public, is set to get underway at 5 p.m. PT.

The exhibition marks the start of the second year under head coach Chris Pendleton, who led OSU to a 4-5 record in 2021. The Beavers placed second at the Pac-12 Championships, which were held at Gill Coliseum, their best finish since the 2018 season.
 
OSU sent six wrestlers to the NCAA Championships last season. All six return for the 2021-22 season. The regular season opens Nov. 6 with a pair of matches – 6:30 p.m. versus Campbell and 8 p.m. against Lehigh. Campbell and Lehigh will also square off at 5 p.m. that night.
