Oregon Tied For Fifth Entering Final Round

KAILUA KONA, Hawaii – The No. 5 ranked Oregon women's golf team is tied for fifth place at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview after finishing the second round with a 10-over 302 on Tuesday at Nanea Golf Club.
 
The Ducks will enter Wednesday's final round – their last of the fall season – at 10-over par for the week. No. 1 Stanford leads the 12-team field at 5-under par.
 
How it Happened: Tze-Han (Heather) Lin and Ching-Tzu Chen were Oregon's top performers on Tuesday, each shooting a 2-over 75. Lin is the top Duck on the leaderboard in ninth place at 1-over par following her 1-under 72 on Monday, and Chen is tied for 17th after making an impressive 16 pars on Tuesday.
 
Briana Chacon and Hsin-Yu (Cynthia) Lu are tied with Chen for 17th overall after each shot a 3-over 76 in round two to round out Oregon's counting scores. Chacon had three birdies Tuesday to tie Lin for the most on the team, and Lu made back-to-back birdies late in the round to lower her score.
