Maxwell Named Preseason Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention

SAN FRANCISCO – Utah's women's basketball player Brynna Maxwell was voted Preseason Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention by the Pac-12 Media members.

Maxwell, a junior from Gig Harbor, Wash., is coming off a season that saw her college Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention honors for the second straight season. Maxwell averaged a team-high 32.3 minutes and 12.8 points per game during her sophomore season as she started all 21 games. To view the complete Preseason Pac-12 All-Conference teams, click here
 
During her sophomore season, she scored a career-high 34 points against Oregon State. This was the most points scored by a single Pac-12 player during the 2020-21 regular season. In that contest, she tied her career-best with ten field goals made.
 
Over her two seasons as a Ute, Maxwell has appeared in 52 games and started every game. She has scored 675 points in her career. She has made 126 three-pointers and is 27 three-pointers away from breaking into the top 10 career list for most three-pointers made as a Ute.  
   
Utah opens their 2021-22 regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 10, when they host Lipscomb University at the Jon. M. Huntsman Center. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Fans who wear white will receive free admission.
