Two Join Men’s Golf

STANFORD, Calif. – The Knowles Family Director of Men's Golf Conrad Ray announced the addition of Sean-Karl Dobson and Dean Greyserman on Wednesday. The two student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent with Stanford and will join the men's golf program in the fall of 2022.
 
"We are excited to welcome Sean-Karl Dobson and Dean Greyserman to the Stanford Golf family," Ray said. "Both student athletes have what it takes to be very successful at Stanford.  Their physical upside, work ethic, and academic horsepower all point towards good things to come. Both also had many options when selecting schools and we are fortunate Stanford was the best fit for them."
 
Sean-Karl Dobson • Austin, Texas (Westlake High School)

  • Will graduate from Westlake High School in 2022
  • Four-year letterwinner in golf
  • 2021-22 Team Captain
  • Has won seven tournaments in his career
  • Two Top-Five finishes in AJGA Invitationals including third at the Rolex Tournament of Champions
  • Twelve Top-10 finishes in national events
  • 2021 has helped team to undefeated fall season
  • 2020-2021 State 6A champions, District champions and Regional runner-up
  • 2021-21 First Team All-State, All-Region, All-District
  • 2020-21 Academic All-State, All-Region, All-District
  • 2019-20 helped team to undefeated fall season before spring season was canceled due to COVID-19

  • Will graduate from Score Academy in 2022
  • 2021 New Jersey state Junior champion
  • 2020 Florida state amateur champion, shooting a 62 in the final round
  • 2020 New Jersey state amateur runner-up
  • 2019 Florida Boys Junior champion
  • 2019 New Jersey state Junior champion
  • Son of Alex and Elaine Greyserman
  • Brother of Jacquie, Max and Reed
  • Mother, Elaine, played tennis at Rutgers
  • Parents were refugees from the former Soviet Union
  • Sister, Jacquie, played tennis at Emory
  • Brother, Max, played golf at Duke and is currently on the Korn Ferry Tour and had six, Top-10 finishes during the 2020-21 season
