Dylan Anderson Signs NLI With Arizona

Nov 12, 2021

TUCSON, Ariz. – The reigning Gatorade Player of the Year in the State of Arizona, Dylan Anderson, made it official on Wednesday, signing his national letter of intent to play for head coach Tommy Lloyd and the Wildcats next season.

"I'm excited to be a Wildcat and play for Coach Lloyd," Anderson said during his signing ceremony at Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona.

Anderson is a 7-foot center that has shown the ability to step out and make the 3-point shot in high school. He averaged 17.1 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots per game as a junior.

"I think Dylan is going to be a great player for us," Lloyd said. "He's a great kid from a great family. He's a skilled big and has potential to be a good shooter, but I'm more excited to see what he can do around the basket. I think he has a lot of potential there to be a really good versatile post player that can have his way around the hoop, eventually."
