EUGENE, Ore. – No. 12 UCLA (20-4, 13-3 Pac-12) saw its seven-match winning streak snapped as it fell to No. 17 Oregon (20-6, 11-5 Pac-12) in straight sets, 3-0, Sunday afternoon in Matthew Knight Arena. Eight separate Bruins recorded a kill in the contest with graduate outside hitter Mac May leading the way with eight kills.

Senior élan McCall, sophomore outside hitter Allison Jacobs and redshirt sophomore middle blocker Anna Dodson racked up six kills apiece. Graduate setter Shelby Martin recorded five kills (.571 hitting percentage) in addition to her 26 assists.

Senior libero Zoe Fleck led the Bruins with 10 digs in the match.

The Bruins opened the first set leading 9-4 and all of Oregon's four points coming by the way of UCLA service errors. The Ducks proceeded to go on a 6-1 run to shrink their deficit to just one point, 13-12. Three consecutive UCLA attack errors gave Oregon its first lead of the frame, 16-15, and the Ducks would not look back for the remainder of the match, never trailing again in a set after that point.

Oregon held UCLA to its lowest hitting percentage (.204) since its third match of the conference season at Washington (.204) on Oct. 1.

Dodson led UCLA with three block assists in the first set as the Bruins tallied five total team blocks.

The Ducks opened the second set on a 5-1 run and let the Bruins within two points, 9-7, before going up 23-15 for their largest lead of the frame. Oregon outside hitter Brooke Nuneviller tallied seven of her match-high 16 kills in the set.
