USC Men's Basketball Earns First AP Top 25 Ranking of 2021-22 Season At No. 25
LOS ANGELES — The USC men's basketball team made its first appearance in the AP Top 25 poll of the season on Monday, debuting at No. 25.
The Trojans (2-0) earned 63 points in the media poll and join fellow Pac-12 teams UCLA (No. 2) and Oregon (No. 12) in the rankings.
USC opened the season with a 89-49 blowout over CSUN last Tuesday and defeated Temple on the road on Saturday, 76-71, to give coach Andy Enfield his 200th career victory.
The Trojans finished last year's campaign ranked No. 9 in the final Amway Coaches Poll following USC's historic Elite Eight run in the NCAA Tournament.
The Trojans close out their two-game road trip Tuesday against Florida Gulf Coast for Enfield's reunion with his former team. USC returns to the Galen Center on Nov. 22 against Dixie State.
