Cal Inks Seven Future Golden Bears

Nov 16, 2021
Seven future Golden Bears have signed their National Letters of Intent to join the Cal Baseball program.

BERKELEY – Seven future Golden Bears signed their National Letters of Intent during the past week and will join the California baseball program in the fall of 2022. The seven-man group is Cal head coach Mike Neu's fifth signing class since taking over the program's helm in 2017.

The seven signees are all from the state of California and include one two-way player, three right-handed pitchers, two infielders and one outfielder. Six of the seven are currently seniors in high school and one is a junior-college sophomore.

"Our coaching staff of Noah Jackson and Matt Flemer did another phenomenal job of finding and recruiting some of the best talent in the state of California for this year's signing class," Neu said. "These seven young men bring high upside at multiple positions and will fit into our established culture of player development. We're excited to welcome them to Bear Territory."
