No. 7 133-pound Michal McGee picked up a 12-3 major decision over No. 10 Tony Madrigal Friday night in ASU's home opener against No. 17 Oklahoma at Desert Financial Arena. McGee initially started down 2-0 before stringing together a pair of escapes, a reversal, and a takedown to go up 6-2 at the end of the second period. He kicked it into high gear from there, getting a pair of takedowns and an escape before his riding time bonus made it 12-3. McGee moves to 4-0 on the season with the win, making him one of eight undefeated starters on the Sun Devil's lineup.

McGee and the Sun Devils are two contests in thus far following Appalachian State's Mountaineer Open and the Oklahoma dual. This week ASU travels to Laramie, Wyoming, to participate in Wyoming's Cowboy Open. The tournament features competition from Utah Valley and Northern Colorado in addition to the Cowboys. Competition will be streamed via FloWrestling and live results are also available via FloArena.
