Huskies Put A Bow On Non-Conference Play Monday Against Nevada

SEATTLE -- The Huskies (4-3) wrap up non-conference action against Nevada (8-3) on Monday with a 2:00 p.m. tip in the final game of the Husky Classic. UW has won two-straight games, while the Wolfpack have won seven-straight after starting the year 1-3.

The game will be the fourth ever match up between UW and Nevada, with the Huskies holding the 3-0 advantage all-time. The teams last met in 2006.

Gary Hill and Elise Woodward will call the action on both 1090 AM KJR and the Pac-12's live streaming platform.

Monday's game will feature a Teddy Bear Toss in which fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to the game to throw onto the court at halftime, which will be gathered and donated to patients in children's hospitals in the Seattle area.

NOTABLE: Nancy Mulkey leads the nation with 4.3 blocks per game and has 30 in seven games. She is on track to become the seventh Husky with 40 or more blocks in a season. She is second among active D1 players in career blocks (358) and blocks per game (3.1) ... Haley Van Dyke is second in the Pac-12 with 8.6 rebounds per game and has recorded three double-doubles in six games after only  two in her first 83 games ... Lauren Schwartz is heating up and averaging 15.5 points over the last two games after averaging 6.0 over the first five games. She is 14 for 23 from the field (.608) during the current two-game stretch ... T.T. Watkins tied a career high with 12 points on Saturday vs. Eastern Washington ... Trinity Oliver recorded a career high nine rebounds in just over 19 minutes of action on Saturday against EWU.
