Huskies Add New Signee Pearson
SEATTLE -- Husky men's tennis picked up another commitment recently as Head Coach Matt Anger announced the signing of local standout Brett Pearson. Pearson will join the Dawgs in the fall of 2022.
A Kirkland, Wash. native in the STEM High School Program, Pearson is coached by his father, Chris, who was a four-year starter for the Huskies from 1983-86. A four-star recruit on TennisRecruiting.net, Pearson was the highest-ranked recruit in the Pacific Northwest region. He has been ranked as high as No. 66 nationally.
"Brett has come a long way in the last couple years," said Anger. "He has had good guidance with his long term growth in mind and I really think he will continue to develop."
Pearson joins Trisan Messerli among the incoming UW class of 2022-23.
