SAN FRANCISCO - Arizona head coach Adia Barnes has been reprimanded by the Pac-12 Conference for public comments made about women’s basketball officiating, Commissioner George Kliavkoff announced today.

Barnes made comments to the media that called into question the officiating during Arizona's game against Oregon on Saturday, Jan. 15.

“The Conference is responsible for enforcing rules established by the Pac-12 membership, one of which prohibits coaches from publicly commenting about officiating,” said Kliavkoff. “Should our coaches wish to provide feedback, there is a protocol in place which allows them to do so directly to the coordinator of officiating.”
