Charisma Osborne Named UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week

Junior guard Charisma Osborne of the women's basketball team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for Jan. 9-16.
 
Osborne averaged 18.0 points per game across UCLA's weekend sweep over Washington (Jan. 14) and Washington State (Jan. 16). The junior extended her streak of scoring in double figures to 10 games to start her season and is currently second in the Pac-12 with 18.3 points per game. She put up a game-high 25 points in the win over the Cougars, her second 25+ point performance of the season. She went 8-for-8 from the line and knocked down three triples against WSU, her sixth game with at least three three-pointers this season. She also put up four assists, rebounds, and three steals in the win over WSU.
 
She opened her weekend with an 11-point performance in the Bruins' win over the Huskies, adding three assists and a pair of rebounds in the victory.
 
This is the first UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week award for Osborne this season and fourth of her career.
