Arizona Falls to Cal, Stanford

TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona Swimming and Diving team dropped their dual meets this weekend to Cal Berkeley and the Stanford Cardinal.

Arizona men fell short to Cal by a score of 173-80 and to Stanford 170-101. The Wildcat women were dropped by Cal with a score of 153-92 and to Stanford by a score of 176-86.

Wildcats had individual event wins on the weekend from Jade Neser, Jake Hand, and Brooks Fail. Neser winning the 100 breast, Hand in the 200 breast and Fail in the 500 free.

Julia Heimstead grabbed two event wins on the weekend, one in the 100 fly and another in the 200 fly.

Arizona Swimming and Diving will be back in action to wrap up their regular season on Saturday, Feb. 5th when they will take on Arizona State.
