LOS ANGELES – UCLA has been ranked No. 22 in the Baseball America's 2022 College Preseason Top-25, the outlet revealed this week.

It's the third preseason poll to be released featuring the Bruins, who also checked in at No. 17 (Perfect Game) and No. 18 (Collegiate Baseball) with other outlets.

UCLA is coming off a 2021 season that saw the team post a 37-20 record and earn a No. 2 seed in Regionals, the program's 24th NCAA Tournament berth all-time. After having an NCAA-high 10 players selected in the 2021 MLB First-Year Player Draft, UCLA augmented the roster by bringing in the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation.

The Bruins open the 2022 season on Feb. 18 against CSUN, the first of 31 scheduled home games at Jackie Robinson Stadium this year.
