Schedule Shifts For ITA Kickoff Weekend At USC's Marks Stadium

LOS ANGELES — The men's tennis schedule for ITA Kickoff Weekend competition at Marks Stadium this weekend will shift due to only three teams now being available for action. No. 8 USC is hosting the event for  the 14th consecutive time, and will now have a first-round bye that advances the Trojans to the championship match, to be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday (Jan. 30).

Saturday's first round will now feature one match — a 10 a.m. meeting between No. 15 Pepperdine and No. 24 Harvard — at Marks Stadium. The winning team will advance to Sunday's 1 p.m. championship match against the host Trojans.

The winner of that Sunday match will earn a place in next month's ITA National Team Indoor Championships, which USC has reached in the past 14 straight competitions.
