Utah Baseball Opens 2022 Preseason Practice
SALT LAKE CITY – It was another sign that baseball is right around the corner on Friday, as the Utah baseball team held its first full team practice of the 2022 preseason. The Utes ran through a variety of drills, before a three-inning intrasquad scrimmage closed out the day.
The first full team practice coincides with marking exactly three weeks out from first pitch, and continues a steady progression toward the season coming off of Fall ball as well as individual and small group work over the last several months.
Utah, entering its first season under head coach Gary Henderson, begins the year with a three-game series at Loyola Marymount from Feb. 18-20. For a full season schedule, click here.
