Mar 1, 2022

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico – Arizona Men's Golf slipped down the leaderboards in Tuesday's final round of the Cabo Collegiate to end the tournament in 13th place at 5-under par. The Wildcats fell a handful of spots while Chase Sienkiewicz finished with Arizona's best score at 7-under, which put him in a tie for 12th place.

"Today was not the finish we wanted to have here in Cabo after two rounds of quality golf," said head coach Jim Anderson. "We were not able to keep up with the rest of the field on the difficult holes that gave us a lot of trouble today to the tune of 16 bogeys. We will take some positives out of this week and focus on areas improvement in our upcoming practices."

Arizona's best round of the day came from graduate senior Cal McCoy who fired a final round score of 69 to move up nine places on the leaderboards.

The Wildcats will return to action when they host the annual Arizona N.I.T. on March 18 and 19 at Omni Tucson National Resort.
