STANFORD, Calif. - No. 25 Stanford opened Pac-12 play with a 6-1 victory over No. 49 Oregon on Friday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

Winners of five straight, Stanford (7-1, 1-0 Pac-12) closed out its five-match homestand with dominant performances in both singles and doubles.

The Cardinal, which has won 47 of its last 50 Pac-12 regular season dual matches, has also won 84 of its last 89 matches at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

Stanford claimed the doubles point for a 1-0 lead following a pair of 6-1 victories on courts No. 1 and 3, respectively.

Angelica Blake was first off court with a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 3 spot for a 2-0 lead before Alexandra Yepifanova delivered her team-leading 20th victory with a 6-2, 6-3 triumph at the No. 2 position.

India Houghton provided the clincher on court four, prevailing 6-3, 6-3.

Oregon (8-3, 0-1 Pac-12) picked up its only point when Karin Young outlasted Sara Choy 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 on court six to close out the match.

Stanford next visits No. 6 Pepperdine on Sunday at 12 p.m.
