TEMPE, Ariz. – Taking the court for the final time in the regular season, Stanford men's basketball fell to Arizona State, 65-56, on Saturday at Desert Financial Arena.

Spencer Jones and Brandon Angel led the way with 14 points apiece, while Jaiden Delaire and Harrison Ingram scored eight. Ingram paced the squad with nine rebounds and four assists, while classmate Maxime Raynaud pitched in six points and seven rebounds.

Stanford led for a majority of the first half, taking a 13-6 lead after three triples from Jones and one from Delaire. With his third make, Jones moved into 10th place on the all-time Stanford list for made 3-pointers with 179. The Sun Devils briefly took a two-point lead at the end of the half, but free throws from Delaire and Jones gave the Cardinal a 32-30 lead at the half.

The Cardinal went back and forth with the home team in the second half, and led 52-51 with 6:13 to play. Arizona State responded with a 14-4 run to close the game and earn the result.

Stanford returns to the court at the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas as the ninth seed. The Wednesday, March 9 tip will air on Pac-12 Networks at noon.
