Wildcats Complete California Roadtrip

Los Angeles - The Wildcats lost their third match on the road to No. 20 USC. 

No. 51 Arizona was unsuccessful in securing the doubles point or any singles points. Salma Ziouti and Lexi Ryngler finished 1-6 against Sloane Morra and Salma Ewing. Finalizing the doubles point for the Trojans was Eryn Cayetano and Danielle Willson who defeated Midori Castillo and Belen Nevenhoven 6-1. 

The Cats stumbled in singles play as two of USC's singles points were taken in two sets. Ziouti fell 6-3, 6-0 to No. 29 Ewing, and Castillo was defeated by Naomi Cheong 6-3 in two straight sets. Ryngler was the last Wildcat to fall and was defeated by the No. 6 ranked singles player Cayetano 6-1, 2-6, 6-3. 

The Wildcats are back in action for a doubleheader at home against Drake and GCU on March, 15 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Then the Cats are back on the road for a match against Oregon on March 18.
