USC's Isaiah Mobley Named To USBWA All-District IX Team

USC junior forward Isaiah Mobley was named to the the U.S. Basketball Writers (USBWA) 2021-22 Men's All-District IX Team, based on voting from its national membership of 900-plus, it was announced today (March 16).  The USBWA has selected All-District teams since the 1956-57 season, its founding year.

Mobley has helped lead No. 22 USC to a 26-7 record and a No. 7 seed in the 2022 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, where it will begin action vs. Miami on Friday, March 18 at 12:10 p.m. PT.  Mobley leads USC with a 14.3 scoring average and an 8.5 rebound average, which ranks seventh and second respectively among Pac-12 players.  Mobley also leads the Trojans in blocks with 29 and is second in assists with 98.

Mobley has scored 20 or more points six times this season and has registered 18 games of at least eight rebounds. He has also posted six double-doubles this season.  Earlier this month he was named to the Pac-12 All-Conference first team.
