Young Named Rookie of the Week

Freshman Khoi Young has been named CGA Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season after winning the pommel horse and vault event titles in a meet vs. California last weekend.
Young, who ranks No. 1 nationally and third overall on pommel horse, turned in a 14.900 on vault and a 14.550 on pommels to secure the event titles.
The selection is the sixth for Stanford this season. Young (Feb. 2, Feb. 16, March 2, March 16), Nick Kuebler (March 9) and Ian Lasic-Ellis (Feb. 9) have all been lauded.
Young is currently in Stuttgart, Germany as part of a 13-person U.S. men's contingent at the 2022 DTB Pokal Team Challenge March 18-20.
