Eight from Pac-12 advance to semifinals at 2022 NCAA Wrestling Championships

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 will have eight student-athletes from three institutions in Friday night's semifinals of the 2022 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Detroit.

Arizona State, the 2022 Pac-12 champions, are currently in third place with 53 points, Stanford is 11th with 24.5 points, Cal Poly is 15th with 20 points and Oregon State is 20th with 16.5 points.

Four Sun Devils have advanced to the semifinals in Brandon Courtney (125), Michael McGee (133), Jacori Teemer (157), and Cohlton Schultz (285). From Stanford, Real Woods (141) and reigning 165lb national champion Shane Griffith are still alive. Griffith will face off against Cal Poly's No. 1-seeded 165 pounder and the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Pac-12 Championships, Evan Wick. Also taking the mat from Cal Poly in the semifinals is Bernie Traux (184).

Semifinal round matches begin Friday, March 18 at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT and can be viewed on ESPN. National champions will be crowned on Saturday, March 19. Additional championship meet information can be found here
