EVENT RESULTS & SCORING

SAN FRANCISCO - Headlined by title match appearances from ARIZONA STATE’s Cohlton Schultz and STANFORD’s Shane Griffith, Pac-12 Wrestling programs combined for a league-record 13 All-America performances at the 2022 NCAA Championships.

The baker’s dozen top-8 finishers in their weight class bested the previous league-high of 12 set in both 1979 and 1990. The 13 All-Americans were second only to the Big Ten’s 39 and came from a total of 23 allocations - the fifth-fewest among the seven Division I wrestling leagues - for the six-team Pac-12.

Four Pac-12 programs finished in the top 25 in the final team standings, the most for the league since 2011. The Conference has had more top-25 finishing teams just six other times, none as recent as 1980 (6 - 1968; 5 - 1969, 1971, 1976, 1979, 1980).

Arizona State, which led all Pac-12 programs with five All-Americans, placed fourth in the team standings for the second consecutive year. It marked the eighth all-time top-5 finish for the Sun Devils.

OREGON STATE, whose four All-Americans were its most since 1995, posted its best team showing since 2013 in 12th place, while CAL POLY recorded its best finish since 2010 at 22nd.
